A word on contact center and attendant console certification for Teams

Tuesday, 26th of May 2020

Since Microsoft announced contact center products currently in the process of being certified for Microsoft Teams last week, we have received some questions about why Tendfor is not on the list.

Tendfor is the world’s first – and currently only – native contact center and attendant console platform in production against the new Cloud Communications APIs for Teams.

At this time, the certification protocols are only available for legacy style SBC connected systems with basic PBX functionality outside of the Teams platform. Microsoft calls these types of systems “Connected”.

No certification is currently available for higher level systems, like Tendfor, working with Teams itself as the native PBX replacement via the new APIs.

Microsoft has indicated higher level integration API based systems should have an avenue to certification shortly. We will return with more information at that time.
